ABOUT CASSON PLANNING & DEVELOPMENT SERVICES
- David Casson established Casson Planning & Development Services in 2015, following 25 years in Local Government as a Town Planner and initially as a Health and Building Surveyor.
- David had experience in a number of other Local Government Areas (LGAs); Campbelltown City, Wingecarribee Shire, Rylstone Shire, Scone Shire and Upper Hunter Shire. David finished his local government career as the Director of Environmental Services at the Upper Hunter Shire Council.
- David then worked with an Upper Hunter based Surveying Company for 4 years before establishing CPDS. This experience of nearly 40 years, provides a broad knowledge about the operations of Local Government, the private industry and the needs, expectations and frustrations of clients when dealing with their particular LGA.
- David has submitted hundreds of applications to LGA’s all over NSW and has a keen appreciation of both sides of the development table. During his career he was responsible for the assessment and subsequent determination of applications, and for the last 12 years, the preparation and submission of applications.
- Making the process as stress free for the client as possible is a major objective of CPDS.
- CPDS has had over 200 applications determined via the NSW Planning Portal process since its introduction. This knowledge and experience will work for you.
- While having been based in the Upper Hunter area for many years – CPDS has lodged applications all over NSW and is more than happy to discuss proposals and the type of assistance that can be offered for any Local Government Area in NSW.
